This is from a couple days ago but apparently the US is planning on building a port/airport in tiny island African nation of Sao Tome and Principe.


If you remember, this tiny island nation had a coup attempt last July.

If you also remember, this tiny island nation is sitting on top of a huge-ass oil field---one that stretches from Nigeria southeastward toward Angola. Much of it is unexplored.
