I've been getting some weird emails lately.

Here's the text of one of them:

THE SIMPLE PLAN OF SALVATION!!!
Look up and rejoice because the Lord Jesus is coming back soon! So soon that I personally believe it will happen in our lifetime.

That raises an interesting problem. Are you ready to stand before God?

Are you saved and on your way to heaven? Or are you lost and on your way to an eternity burning in the lake of fire?

The purpose of this page is to tell you about the Lord Jesus Christ that you may receive Him as your Lord and Saviour and be saved.

He that believeth on the Son hath everlasting life: and he that believeth not the Son shall not see life; but the wrath of God abideth on him. John 3:36

The Bible clearly says there are ONLY two types of people on earth.


THE SAVED... and ....
THE LOST




Which are you???? Are you saved or are you lost? Do you have everlasting life? or will you not see life and the wrath of God abides upon you?

THE CHOICE IS ENTIRELY UP TO YOU WHERE YOU WILL SPEND ETERNITY....!
Come now, and let us reason together, saith the LORD: though your sins be as scarlet, they shall be as white as snow; though they be red like crimson, they shall be as wool. Isaiah 1:18

God gives you a choice. You may stay Lost and on your way to an eternal lake of fire (hell) or you may choose the Lord Jesus as your Saviour and accept His free love gift of salvation and eternal life. So now the pressure is off God and on YOU. God will not send anyone to hell.... they go there by CHOICE. What will your choice be? An eternity in the lake of fire paying for your sins or do you accept full forgiveness through the Lord Jesus Christ?

Right now as you read this you are either SAVED or LOST!



ALL HAVE SINNED

SIN HAS A PENALTY
For the wages of sin [is] death; but the gift of God [is] eternal life through Jesus Christ our Lord. Romans 6:23



THE LORD JESUS PAID THE PENALTY FOR SIN
But he [was] wounded for our transgressions, [he was] bruised for our iniquities: the chastisement of our peace [was] upon him; and with his stripes we are healed. Isaiah 53:5



YOU MUST RECEIVE THE LORD JESUS (to be saved)
But as many as received him, to them gave he power to become the sons of God, [even] to them that believe on his name: John 1:12

The Lord Jesus is the Only way to be saved...there are NO other ways to heaven except by the Lord Jesus Christ: See the following Scriptures

Jesus saith unto him, I am the way, the truth, and the life: no man cometh unto the Father, but by me. John 14:6

Neither is there salvation in any other: for there is none other name under heaven given among men, whereby we must be saved. Acts 4:12

That is the simple plan of salvation. Just repent of your sins (admit your sin with a willingness to turn away) and receive the Lord Jesus as your Saviour. Going to church, praying to statues, doing silly rituals will never save you. ONLY the Lord Jesus Christ and HIM ALONE can save from sin.

SINNERS PRAYER
Lord Jesus, I admit that I am a sinner and so must die. I ask You to come into my life to forgive and save me. I now receive You as my Saviour (trusting in You ALONE) to save me and my Lord (making You my Master and committing my life to you). Come into my heart, cleanse me with the blood you shed on the cross in payment for my sin. Thank you Lord Jesus!

Now, I get weird spam all the time. But I think this was deliberate. Why? Because Senator Arlen Spector, Mayor John Street, The Lighter Side of the Rittenhouse Review, and a couple other blogs (one of which I believe is Atrios) also recieved it.
