WASHINGTON - FBI (news - web sites) agents destroyed evidence and failed to share other information that raised the possibility that a gang of white supremacist bank robbers may have assisted Timothy McVeigh (news - web sites) during the Oklahoma City bombing, according to documents never introduced at McVeigh's trial.
Now as I remember it (and researched it), the Federal government was all set to do some deep deep probing into the white supremacy/far-right movement and certain individuals in Congress at the time squashed it. Correct me if I have it wrong.
