The job hunt plods on. Sent out two today to the city of York - - - one in human resources and the other in community development. The community development job is closer to my field as I have had some education in urban planning and community development (and York really needs it too).

I have also discovered that KSAs (Knowledge Skills and Abilities) are the devil. Those in or seeking Federal employment know what I am talking about.
